Poop and Children’s Literature

Do you believe a romantic novel has nothing to do with children? Yes? Well you get it wrong here, trust me.

Proof is Shopping for a Billionaire’s Fiancée   The lines I loved more were those describing fatherly tender and protective Declan (the main Alpha man character of the series), where he tells his future fiancée that there is nothing better than talking about poop with children (mainly boys) and make them laugh out lout and forget about difficulties.

So. This is how I went back to my memories, and remember The Incredible Story of Lavinia (amazon.com) by Bianca Pitzorno. A brilliant short story book for children of all ages. At the very beginning the author warns you not to read this story if you are a fussy picky person, otherwise go ahead. And, it goes without saying, you go ahead.

RATING: 10/10 📖📖📖📖📖📖📖📖📖📖

Here you can find a full review in English and get a chance to know Lavinia, her fairy and her magic ring for poop. A Review together with some pages into English.

Alas! I have done a little research and found out that there is till now no full translation into English. But you can find on the market a wonderful Spanish version, with Quentin Blake’s Illustrations.

Personally, I believe this is a must have and must read for your children. If you speak Spanish or Italian, go and get it, read it tonight to your kids. They will love it! And you too!
