NY Resolutions: Sewing Machine & Elena Ferrante

thread-931889_1920

It is so relaxing to stay home for some days. Beside working (which it happens I like doing… despite all), I can find some time for myself too. After considering the thousand of little works always there waiting for me since ever, yesterday I:

  1. Finished reading Belgravia by Julian Fellowes, which I will write today a review about; embassy_home_night
  2. Have started reading L’Amica Geniale by Elena Ferrante  (after many books in English,  I have gone back to my mother tongue, hoping not to be disappointed after all this international ad on this series); 15c681eb-c76a-4803-952e-26be3a4a8988img400-1
  3. SEWED! I took out my old mechanical sewing machine and converted an old tablecloth in 5 small breakfast tablecloths, taking out my ETSY brand [manu’fatto], which I don’t create any more due to lack of time. What a delight! I so much love creating and reconverting old stuff in  totally new or partly new stuff. And I can consider myself satisfied with the result, which you can see here below. sewing-1332860_1280

And You?  If you are so lucky to have 3 days of holidays, what have you done to accomplish something you have dreamt for during the last time?

Waiting for you 💖

Dom
