YOU CAN’T HUMANLY REVIEW MORE THAN 182 (!) BOOKS IN A YEAR
Really. Be suspicious of reviewers that publish more than the humanly readable: given that they are human, they don’t possess more than 24 hours in a day, 365 days in a year. And honestly, how can you trust someone that publishes a review (or more) a day? I personally don’t.
I CAN REVIEW ONLY WHAT I HAVE JUST READ
I will review only the best books I have really read after May 2016 (when I have started this blog). Even if I remember quite well Jane Eyre, for instance, I couldn’t possibly review it now because a lot would be missing. Just the feeling of it, which is inside of me, wouldn’t be enough to convince you to read it. Or I should read it again. Which I won’t. As already stated, I don’t read a book twice. It is once and forever. Except for poetry or some specific pages.
BOOK REVIEWS ARE NOT THE BIBLE.
You can have different points of view from mine. For example, I didn’t like Me Before You. There. I have said it.
A GOOD REVIEW IS NOT ALWAYS FOR AN UNFORGETTABLE BOOK. AND VICE VERSA.
See previous statement.
ENJOY PICKING UP A BOOK JUST READING THE BLURB.
Sometimes book reviewers… suck. Mainly the big names 😉 Well, it is not a mistery that there is a big marketing beneath it.
A.m. rules are solely mine, and mine.
